The Youth and Community Committee of the Arab Sports Club in partnership with Al Wakra Youth Center organized a visit to the exhibition “Towards a Better Life” on Thursday 4th of July.
The Standing Committee on Drugs and Alcohol in the Ministry of Interior, which is organized by the Department as part of the celebration of the World Anti-Drug Day.
The visit was part of the plan of community participation with various institutions in the country with regard to youth and contributes in providing advice and advice to them, and a statement of the usefulness in their lives in various aspects, and learn more and benefit from the exhibitions organized by various state institutions in the youth, awareness and education.
The participants visited several pavilions participating in this exhibition where they learned about the efforts of the state and its various institutions in combating this scourge and its severe harm to individuals and communities, while stressing the importance of concerted efforts among all members of society and its institutions to eradicate this incurable disease that has spread in many countries and communities. Its damage and bad impact have been felt in many of these communities.
The exhibition was inaugurated by HE Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports, Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director General of Public Security at the Ministry of Interior, and attended by a number of Ministry of Interior leaders and participants in the exhibition for this year 2019 at Qatar Mall Complex, which will continue until Saturday From ten in the morning until ten in the evening.
At the end of the visit, the participants thanked the activity department of the Arab Sports Club and Al Wakra Youth Center for organizing this important visit, which is in the public interest of the participants to warn of falling into the clutches of addiction or being dragged behind bad companions, in this painful way, stressing that the definition of the damage of this scourge and spread it among Members of society, an important factor in fighting and eliminating them in our beloved country and the whole world.
